Bloomblocks and Other Delights brings together a group of recent wall-hung works alongside selected related pieces from earlier series. At its center are a new body of small, intimate sculptures built around familiar forms—flowers, knobs, keys, tools, and fixtures—objects that suggest use, repair, or flow, but stop just short of functioning.

Across the exhibition, materials behave in ways that feel recognizable before they are fully understood. Marks read as drips, leaks, or traces; forms hover between hardware and ornament. The works invite immediate recognition and then hold attention through subtle shifts in scale, surface, and material logic. They are meant to be encountered casually, the way domestic objects are—noticed quickly, then reconsidered.

Also included are white velvet works depicting fire hydrants, developed through a layered process of drawing, sublimation printing on velvet, and redrawings made by extruding rubberized paint through a syringe. These pieces extend the exhibition’s interest in flow, pressure, and reworking familiar infrastructure through unexpected materials.

Select works from Couch Potato Colonizers and Necessary Mutation appear as quiet anchors, offering context for the newer Bloomblocks while keeping the emphasis on recent wall-based explorations. Together, the exhibition presents a collection of works that are approachable, materially curious, and meant to live comfortably in close proximity to everyday life.
